Rolf and Steen preparing for Challenge Copenhagen
Two guys will certainly stand out in the field of age groupers on Sunday morning August 15. Former cycling super star Rolf Sørensen and ex pro golfer Steen Tinning have both decided to take up the ultimate challenge of the iron-distance triathlon.
For the Danes neither of the two needs further presentation. Rolf Sørensen is the most winning cyclist in Denmark. Among his greatest victories are the two spring classics; Liege-Bastogne-Liege (1993) and Tour of Flanders (1997). Besides from that the charismatic cyclist has won two stages in the Tour de France, worn the yellow jersey, won a stage in Giro D’Italia and numerous other one day and stage races.

Steen Tinning has played professional golf for a staggering 18 years. In that time he joined the European Tour where he won The Celtic Manor Resort Wales Open (2000) and Telefonica Open de Madrid (2002). He is author of the book “Golf on the mind”, teaches golf and involved in different projects.
