1000 participants already signed up!
Six and a half months before the gun goes off, Challenge Copenhagen has already reached the landmark of a 1000 entries. At the moment participants from more than 30 nations from all over the world will join together in Copenhagen to challenge themselves in one of the most unique settings for an Iron-distance triathlon – and more is still to come.
Outstanding pro field
A growing field of professional athletes promises for a strong battle for the win for both men and women. On the men’s side experienced athletes like Chris McDonald, Luke Dragstra and Olaf Sabatschus will battle strong rising stars like Dane and two times ITU world champ third, Martin Jensen, Swede Clas Björling and New Zealand’s Keegan Williams.
The Womens field proves just as exciting. Triathlon legends Belinda Granger and Lisbeth Kristensen will among others be up against Ironman Hawaii 2009 third Virginia Berasategui, Swede Tove Wiklund and American diesel engine Hillary Biscay.
More strong athletes will be added to the pro field in the coming weeks.

A variety of sponsors
More and more sponsors are also partnering with Challenge Copenhagen. Common for the majority of them is that they give added value for the athletes participating. Magic Sportsfood sponsors High5 energy products; Craft sponsors high quality finisher shirts and merchandise; Radisson Blu is official hotel with special prices for participating athletes and their families; Klinik sponsors the massage in the after race area, Endurance Sport is official Challenge Copenhagen shop, Sixt and SAS offer discounts on car rental and flight tickets, etc.
In the coming months more great sponsors will be revealed, so stay tuned for more!
