Athlete's guide
The athlete guide for KMD Challenge Copenhagen is ready. In the guide you will find all the information you need for planning your race, together with rules and advices for the race.
Athletes shall study the guide carefully, so that they will be well prepared for the race. Start numbers will be send out around one week before the race, so before that we cannot tell you which starting group you are in. Please be patient in that matter.
An advice for all athletes and spectators at the race. Because of a very limited number of parking spaces at Amager Strandpark, and due to the fact, that the road closures for the race course will make it a bit difficult to get around the city. We advice everybody to use the Metro to get around. To get to Amager Strandpark, use the Metro line M2, and leave the train at either Amager Strand or Femøren from where it takes 10 to 15 minutes to walk to the T1 area.
Download the athletes' guide here (Because of trouble with Mac's Preview, you need to open in Adobe Reader)
Good luck in the race.

Statement; Danish triathlete disqualified due to doping offences
Statement from the Danish Triathlon Federation (in danish - see below for english summary);
"Dansk triatlet midlertidigt udelukket for al idræt under Danmarks Idræts-Forbund
Due to the fact that danish pro triathlete Bjarne Møller has admitted the use of EPO during a training camp in South Africa during 18th to 26th of March, he is instantly deleted from the start list of Challenge Copenhagen. All pro athletes signs a contract with YWC Sports were he "...assures that he has not committed any offence against the anti-doping regulations and that he will not commit such offence in the future." - due to this combined with the athletes admitted use of the substances, we have decided to remove Bjarne Møller from the list of participants in Challenge Copenhagen. We take strong actions against the use of doping in triathlon in corporation with Anti Doping Denmark, but also in the contract we sign with pro athletes.
Video from Challenge Wanaka
Earlier this year a fantastic race was held in Wanaka, New Zealand. Challenge Wanaka was won by Gina Crawford and Richard Usher - two home soil victories for the kiwies!
Now the team behind the event has made this video to show of what has been known as the most scenic triathlon in the world. Take a look, and think about signing up for 2011 - www.challenge-wanaka.com.
Triathlete: Most anticipated new races of 2010
We made the list! To be number two on an American magazines list is something we are quite proud of - of course they will learn on August 15th that we should have been number 1, but America is far away, we don't blame them :)
