There is lots of great advice here. I wish I had asked the same question a year ago!
Make sure you can do the swim, this you cant get through with just will power. The rest you can push through. Don't hurt your self training but do work hard and put the hours in. Dont try to go fast just keep going. All you need to do is finish the diatance on August 15th. If you do it inside the given time limit then great, if not then it will be great training for your next Iron Distance race;D I think one very important thing that needs to be said is that you need to enjoy the whole thing. Training should not be agony. Every now and then you should look back to when you started out and see how you have improved. It can be done.
