Hi,

I was just wondering how wet will the water be during the swim?

Also will there be many uphill sections during the swim??

;)

Wetness is about a 6, maybe even a 7 on the uphill parts of the course.

Hope this helps!

Hi Oscar,

Thanks for that!

I was concerned that it might be a 9 or even a 10 on the wetness scale during the swim, which would have been too wet for me! I'll start doing some hill work in the pool over the next few weeks so hopefully i'll be prepared for the big day!:P

Thanks again!

I think its ok as the man made lagoon has been designed to minimize any up hill areas. As far as wetness goes I am afraid you may need a dry suit, I think it may top the wetness scale at over 10.2 wetts.
Do you think it would be possible to install some travalators (like in airports) for the run section in hard areas to help tired athletes?

Hi Everyone!

I was just wondering if anyone can tell me what flavour the JellyFish will be during the swim course?

Normally I eat Jelly Babies on the run section and think it's great that we might have some JellyFish to keep us going during the swim!

Thanks in advance Challenge Copenhagen!

;D

I would like to know if it is legal to use a friends taxi, i case you run out of energy during bike session, or just want to have fresh legs on the run. If yes can you only get on it when aidstation is in sight?

The jellyfish comes in water and salt flavour. but be careful, the wetness scale in them, is about 12.

See you on sunday :-D

Not too sure about the taxi.

But as far as the bike leg goes, I have heard that the fastest triathletes in the world sit ON TOP of the bike and "pedal". Apparently this is faster than just running alongside it! However, I haven't figured it out yet. The bike tips over real easy before you even have a chance to get some speed on.
