Challenge Copenhagen - Relay

Imagine crossing the finish line in front of the Danish parliament. Imagine having completed 3,8km swim, 180km bike and 42,2 km of run in co-operation with you friends and family. This is possible with the relay-start in Challenge Copenhagen – you share the ultimate challenge of the iron-distance on a team.

Many athletes are good at either running, swimming or cycling but think that going the full distance is a little to much. If this applies to you then consider signing up for Challenge Copenhagen 2010 – Relay.

You can team up with one or two of your best friends to form a team and each do one or two of the disciplines, either swim, bike or run. This enables you to chose the disciplines you are most familiar with and combine your strengths for the best result.

Same course, same experience

The transition between the disciplines will take place in the same way as the single starters in the transition zones. The routes are exactly the same and the service will be of the highest standards all throughout the race. The only difference from the single starter race is that this will be a team effort.

The relay opens the opportunity of sharing the distances with friends or family. You will have to combine your strengths to achieve the best possible results on race day, while giving you and your team a great day experiencing the exciting world of long distance triathlon.

A relay team consist of two or three persons each doing one or two of the disciplines. After finishing you will receive a special relay medal and finisher shirt. And just like the single starters you will all be able to relax in the athletes garden afterwards.
